About Paul

Paul Geise was born and raised in Metro Detroit. As a student, he navigated school with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and a learning disability — a label that could have defined him, but didn't.

He went on to graduate high school, attend college, and build a professional career. Today he writes to share what he learned along the way: that the barriers holding us back are often the labels we accept about ourselves, and that real change can start with something as small as reading ten pages.

His books are written for students, parents, educators, and anyone who has ever been told they can't — and wants to prove otherwise.
